The field trip to Ami campus and Mt. Tsukuba

We, the international students from Ibaraki University, had a field trip to Ami campus and Mt. Tsukuba which was held on 18th April, 2018. At 9:00 am, we departed from the university to Ami campus and reached the location an hour later, 10:00 am. We were given a brief introduction about the strawberry farm by the people in charge, mostly in Japanese, but our sensei translated some of the information to English. After the briefing was given, the group took pictures at the farm and picked strawberries together which was a fruitful experience. After an hour and a half, we left the farm and headed towards our next location, Mt. Tsukuba. But before that, we stopped by a convenience store for lunch. It was raining when we arrived at Mt. Tsukuba at 1:00 pm. We used the cable car to get the top of the mountain, which was fun. Even though it was very cloudy, everyone got to see a wonderful view from the mountain. After 30 minutes, we used the cable car to travel back down the mountain and visited the Tsukuba shrine, where we got our written oracles. At 3:00 pm, the field trip ended and we made our way back to the university. In conclusion, this field trip was a memorable and an educational experience. I would like to go on more field trips like this in the future.
