Global Cooperative education International interaction events Activities to support students studying abroad

Ibaraki University Center for Global Education puts a lot of effort into Global cooperative education, to develop students’ skills in co-production to work with people from various backgrounds. Students from different countries and different culture study, discuss and work in a group on projects together at the Ibaraki University to strengthen their communication skills, mutual understanding and practical English skills.

Intercultural Co-learning Couse

We have Intercultural Co-learning Couse available in General Education Courses, Course of Project Based Learning about community across 5 departments, Global English Program course for exchange students and International Students from undergraduate from partner schools to study with Japanese students.

We have classes that use Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) methods, and students from more than 2 universities from different countries are communicating and studying together online, under the supervision of each school’s professors.
