Purpose
Master the Japanese language skills required for educational and research activities at university.
Target students
International undergraduate students (mainly 1st years) and exchange students.
Points to note when taking courses
● International students can use Academic Japanese credits to fulfil Foreign Language credits.
※Foreign Language: a foreign language other than English
● All colleges: Students can take the Academic Japanese course from the 1st semester (from April) ⇒ It is recommended that international students take Academic Japanese.

●Students are required to take Academic Japanese I or not based on their EJU scores. Students who are asked to take “Academic Japanese I” at the time of admission should take “Academic Japanese I” instead of “Academic Japanese IIA” in the previous semester.
