The Japan-Vietnam Online International Exchange Project (Wednesday, July 20)

In this program, students from Ibaraki University and students from Haiphong University (Vietnam) will collaboratively work on the project over the next three months. In the project work, students will find a commonality between Ibaraki Prefecture and Haiphong City, Vietnam, and create a digital article on the topic of their interest.

In the third session on Wednesday, July 20, students discussed the topics for their project. In the next session on July 30, students will consider the spots they introduce in each area according to their theme!

On the field trip, Mr. Osato of Sakanaya Honten, where the tank crashed in the anime "Garupan," spoke about the cooperation between Garupan and the shopping district. After that, students were divided into groups and took a walk around the town, and broadcasted to the virtual participants using Pocket wifi and smartphones. Finally, we visited Oarai Isosaki Shrine.
