“Thinking about the internationalization of the community”, start it up!

With the support of the "Regional Research and Regional Collaboration Project" sponsored by Ibaraki University Social Collaboration Center, students of Ibaraki University are working with the Ami Town and the Ami International Exchange Association to plan an event for foreign residents in the community. 12 students are participating in this project titled "Thinking about the internationalization of the community." With participation from all faculties and grades of Ibaraki University, the planning is progressing in a friendly atmosphere.

On the evening of Wednesday, September 21, students presented their plans to the staff members of Ami Town and the Ami International Exchange Association. At the meeting, which took place both online and in person, a lively exchange of ideas was taken place and we were able to decide on the direction and details of the plan.
