Short-term Study Abroad Program at the University of Brunei Darussalam

10 students participated in the Global Discovery Program at the University of Brunei Darussalam.

The three-week training (August 29-September 20, 2022) included exposure to local traditions and culture, and workshops aimed at improving presentation and communication skills were held. Students also deepened their understanding of Brunei's economy through the entrepreneurship program. Despite the hard daily schedule, the students had a lot of communication and time to spend with local students, and their friendship seems to have continued even after they returned to Japan.

In their reflections after returning to Japan, some of the students said, "I didn't know much about Brunei before, but I was able to experience a different culture through the program and interaction with local people," and "I am no longer afraid to speaking in English," and "I want to improve my English speaking ability and be able to express my opinions in English.
