Joint disaster prevention drill with Mito-city(Tuesday,September27)

A joint disaster prevention drill was conducted on September 27, 2022 at the International House of Ibaraki University with the support of Disaster Prevention and Risk Management Division of Mito City, Mito City International Association, and the Mito Gender Equality Association.

Japanese tutors and international students, a total of 16 students participated.

Residents of the International House were first lectured on disaster prevention, and later practiced earthquake evacuation behavior, experienced using fire extinguishers, and stayed at evacuation shelters.

They were also lectured on tools and methods for making meals in an emergency, and given emergency food prepared using that method.
