A Class Exchange with the University of Wisconsin-Superior (U.S.)(Wednesday, October 12)

On the morning of Wednesday, October 12, 12 students enrolled in the "Studies in Particular Field," a course of the Global English Program, had an online exchange with 17 Japanese language students from the University of Wisconsin-Superior (U.S.), one of Ibaki University's partner universities.

This course incorporates COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning), a method of education in which students from two or more universities in two or more countries are connected online and study together under the supervision of faculty members from both universities. During the class exchange on October 12, students were divided into groups to discuss the theme of the project and the field in which they will conduct their fieldwork.

The final presentation for the fieldwork project will be held on Wednesday, November 16!
