Information Exchange Meeting for Tandem Learning(Saturday, October 22)
We are conducting tandem learning project, in which students from different mother language pair up and learn each other's languages and cultures.
This year marks its 4th year, and 44 students from Ibaraki University and 43 students from its partner universities participated in this program.
As a new trial this year, we asked student leaders to manage the information exchange meetings, which had been conducted by the faculty member in the previous years.
The first information exchange meeting was held at 9:00 p.m. (Japan Standard Time) on Saturday, October 22, and was attended by 8 students from Ibaraki University and 8 students from our partner universities abroad. At the information exchange meeting, student leaders first shared the results of the questionnaire taken beforehand with the entire group. After that, the students were divided into groups to discuss their progress, which was then shared with the whole group.
This tandem learning project will continue until the end of December!
