An Event for ”Thinking about the internationalization of the community” project (Sunday, December 4)
On Sunday, December 4, with the support of the "Regional Research and Regional Collaboration Project" sponsored by Ibaraki University Social Collaboration Center, students of Ibaraki University organized an event for foreign residents in the community.
The event was planned and organized by 10 students of Ibaraki University in cooperation with the Ami Town and the Ami International Exchange Association.
14 people participated in this event, and it was impressive to see the children of foreign residents and their parents, as well as Japanese children and their parents, having fun while interacting with each other through making sushi rolls, kite making and kite flying, making "byun-byun-koma (zinging top)," yo-yo fishing, and making ema. Children who participated in the event said they had a lot of fun and would like to participate again.
