International Exchange Field Trip was held(Saturday, June 17)
On Saturday, June 17, an international exchange field trip was held to promote exchanges between international and Japanese students. This time, 66 Japanese students and 46 international students participated and visited Nikko Edo-mura.
In the facilities that recreate the town of the Edo period, each group enjoyed sightseeing on a Yakatabune (houseboat) and a senbei (rice cracker) baking experience. During the trip, they enjoyed the culture of the Edo period and were seen actively interacting, teaching each other their native languages.
Participants made comments such as "I don't usually have many opportunities to interact with international students, so it was nice to be able to interact with many of them on this trip." and "There were many valuable exhibits, and I was able to feel close to the culture of Edo and spend a meaningful time there."
