Zazen Event Organized by Ibaraki University's International Exchange Circle "Smilる"(Saturday, November 18)

On Saturday, November 18, Ibaraki University's international exchange circle "Smile" organized an event in cooperation with Ibaraki University's tea ceremony club at Koshakuji Temple near the Mito campus. 20 international and Japanese students from Ibaraki University participated in the event and enjoyed a zazen experience, a tea ceremony, and an networking session with 15 local residents living near Koshakuji Temple.

Participating students commented that "the zazen experience was refreshing," "we could interact with people living near the university, and "we learned about the history of the area near the university."
