Classroom Collaboration with Katsuta Secondary School (1)-Level 4 (General) Class, Japanese Langauge Training Course (Wednesday,November 29)

On Wednesday, November 29, 9 international students enrolled in Level 4 (General) of the Japanese Language Training Course visited Katsuta Secondary School in Hitachinaka City to have a class exchange with 37 third-year students of the Future Exploration Global Seminar. Students from both schools are working on a project to create an ideal junior high school for children from diverse backgrounds. In this first meeting, international students from Ibaraki University gave presentations on their country's education system, life in their own junior high school, and the current situation of accepting children with diverse backgrounds. The lively exchange of opinions was impressive, as students from both schools discussed with each other across generational boundaries.
