Classroom Collaboration with Katsuta Secondary School (7)-Level 4 (General) Class, Japanese Langauge Training Course (Wednesday,January 31)

9 international students enrolled in Level 4 (General) of the Japanese Language Training Course and 37 third-year students enrolled in the Future Exploration Global Seminar at Katsuta Secondary School in Hitachinaka City worked on a project to discuss an ideal junior high school for children from diverse backgrounds.

On Wednesday, January 31, the final session of this program, the participants reflected on their past activities in groups. Participating students commented, "I thought that country = culture, but now I realize that there are many different people in a country and that I should not be limited by my own image of a country," and "I learned that there are many different cultures and people in society, even in a small region like Ibaraki."
