Japanese Field Studies:Shodo(Tuesday,April 22)

On Tuesday, April 23, 25 exchange students in the Japanese Language Program who are taking the "Japanese Field Studies" class experienced calligraphy under the guidance of Masakazu Ito Sensei from the School of Collaborative Regional Innovation. Ito Sensei, who is also a master calligrapher, explained the history of calligraphy and calligraphy culture to the international students in an easy-to-understand manner. The students practiced the basic calligraphy character "永 (Ei)" and the character they wanted to write, deepening their understanding of Japanese culture through calligraphy.
