【International Student Almni Association】“Working and Teaching in Japan”

On May 27, 2024, we invited Mr. Benjamin Self, a former exchange student working in the field of education in Mito, to give a lecture for current exchange students.

Mr. Self gave us a presentation about experiences as an exchange student at Ibaraki University, the background for finding job in Japan, and tips for building relationships with coworkers in Japan.

During Q & A session, participant students asked questions such as why Mr. Self decided to work in Japan, how they can find a job with their specialties, etc., and had a very active session. After the lecture, we had a social gathering with Mr. Self, and had more discussion.
