Walking around Mito Campus "Japanese Pop Culture B" Class(Wednesday, June 26)
In the "Japanese Pop Culture B" class offered by the Center for Global Engagement, students are considering how to revitalize the town near the Mito campus with the cooperation of LEIDEAS. The class is taken by 7 Japanese students and 14 international students.
On Wednesday, June 26, students visited 23RD Annex, a new place organized by LEIDEAS near the Mito campus. The students then took a walk around the Mito campus and considered how the town could be revitalized. During the walk, the group visited the "Hakamatsuka Book Club small library" and the "Dokokano Gallery", both of which were created by renovating vacant houses. All participating students were surprised to find such wonderful places around the Mito campus.
