Japanese Field Studies: Soba Making (Tuesday, June 25)

On Tuesday, June 25, the exchange students in the Japanese Language Program who are taking the "Japanese Field Studies" class visited Mito City Forest Park and they experienced soba noodle making. The students were divided into groups while the instructors gave them guidance and support. They mixed and kneaded soba powder, rolled out the dough, and then cut it and made soba noodle. They enjoyed their hand-made soba.
