World Campus International(WCI) in Mito (Tourist Information Course in English) (Thursday, August 1)

21 students participating in Ibaraki University's international exchange volunteer activities participated in an exchange meeting on August 1 with 18 young people from overseas visiting for the World Campus International in Mito.

At the exchange meeting, students from Ibaraki University first showed them around the Kodokan and Mito Castle Ruins in English, and after having lunch together in the Mito Station area, they went to the Mito International Association.

At the Mito International Association, they had an ice-breaker activity and a discussion about ideal schools prepared by Ibaraki University's management team.

The WCI participants who came to Mito found the exchange particularly more enjoyable and fulfilling than previous exchanges with university students they have had in other regions, and they had a great time getting to know each other and exchanging social networking and other information at the end.

We would like to thank all the participating Ibaraki University students for all their hard work in preparation and rehearsals since May.
