Preparation for Disaster Prevention Sports Day (which will held on Sunday, December 8)

4 students (2 Japanese and 2 international students) from Ibaraki University, participating as an IOP activity, are visiting Katsuta Secondary School every Monday to prepare for the Disaster Prevention Sports Day, which will be held on December 8th with 20 students from Katsuta Secondary School and 4 foreign residents living in Hitachinaka City!　The Disaster Prevention Sports Day is a sports event with a disaster prevention element and is intended for both adults and children to learn about disaster prevention while having fun. Foreign residents in Japan are often vulnerable to information leakage, especially during disasters, and are forced to face various difficulties. Through this activity, we hope to help foreign residents and local residents interact with each other and prepare for disasters.

We are also looking for participants for the Disaster Prevention Sports Day.
