Classroom Collaboration with Katsuta Secondary School (1)-Level 4 (General) Class, Japanese Langauge Training Course & Japanese Teacher Education Program (Wednesday,November 28)

On Wednesday, November 28, 5 international students enrolled in Level 4 (General) of the Japanese Language Training Course and 4 Japanese students enrolled in "Japanese Pedagogy" class of Japanese Langauge Teacher Education Program visited Katsuta Secondary School in Hitachinaka City to have a class exchange with 31 third-year students of the Future Exploration Global Seminar. Students from both schools are working on a project to create an ideal junior high school for children from diverse backgrounds.

In this first meeting, students discussed on the case of "transfer students from abroad." The lively exchange of opinions was impressive, as students from both schools discussed with each other across generational boundaries.
