Japanese Pop Culture A Class: Oarai Field Trip (Sunday, May 11)

On Sunday, May 11, 22 students enrolled in the class of “Japanese Pop Culture A,” which is offered by the Center for Global Engagement, participated in a field trip to Oarai town. Oarai Town is the setting of the anime "Girls and Panzer" (commonly known as Garpan).

Prior to the field trip, students learned about the anime pilgrimages and community revitalization, and they explored the places they wanted to visit on the field trip with their group members.
