Visit from Students of Indonesia University of Education (Monday, July 7)

On Monday, July 7, 2025, two students from the Indonesia University of Education, one of our international partner institutions, visited our university. They are currently participating in an internship program hosted by Kawachi Town in Ibaraki Prefecture. Through this program, they are engaging in local life experiences, short-term work placements at local companies, and participating in the “Global Ideathon in Kawachi Town,” contributing to solving regional issues and promoting the town’s international appeal. Five students from Ibaraki University are also supporting the operation of this program.

During their visit, the students greeted university executives including the President, Vice President, and Board Members at a university management meeting. They also joined a campus tour and exchange event guided by Japanese and Indonesian students, and participated in a “Business Communication” class.

Although their visit came during a busy time shortly after arriving in Japan, they seemed to enjoy interacting with our students and experiencing campus life.
