Ibaraki University International Alumni Association General Meeting Held (Saturday, November 8)

On the afternoon of Saturday, November 8, 2025, the General Meeting of the “Ibaraki University International Alumni Association,” an organization formed by former international students who graduated from Ibaraki University, was held on the Mito Campus.

Coinciding with the university’s annual festival, “Shien-sai,” the campus was bustling with visitors. A total of 15 participants, including 7 alumni and 5 faculty and staff members, gathered for the event.

Following a welcome address by Director Ikeda, the meeting proceeded smoothly. After the meeting, two alumni currently working at a company and educational institution in Japan gave talks, sharing their career paths and specialty.

A social gathering was also held at the Global Commons (formerly known as Ryugaku Koryushitsu), where participants enjoyed reconnecting in a relaxed atmosphere and deepened their bonds across generations and backgrounds.
