Ami International Exchange Association × Exchange Meeting with Ibaraki University International Students(Saturday, November 15)

On the morning of November 15, 2025, the Ami International Exchange Association hosted its first-ever “Exchange Meeting with Ibaraki University International Students.” While the association and the university have collaborated on various projects promoting international understanding and community activities in the past, this was the first time an event was organized specifically for direct interaction between local residents and international students. It turned out to be a fresh and exciting initiative, filled with smiles and meaningful conversations.

The venue welcomed six students from Indonesia and two students from China, all studying at Ibaraki University’s Ami Campus, along with five Japanese students who supported the exchange. In addition, 21 members of the Ami Town International Exchange Association joined, making it a lively gathering of more than 30 participants.

During the event, participants enjoyed Indonesian sweets and coffee, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Conversations flowed naturally as people shared stories about hobbies, university life, and future dreams. It was a valuable opportunity for everyone to deepen mutual understanding while respecting each other’s cultures and perspectives.
