International Exchange Field Trip Held (June 6)

On Saturday, June 6, the International Office organized an International Exchange Field Trip at Komorebi Mori no Ibaride.

A total of 124 Japanese and international students from the Mito, Hitachi, and Ami Campuses participated in the event. Students enjoyed a variety of activities planned by the student staff, as well as an outdoor cooking activity where they prepared curry together.

Participants shared many positive comments about their experience. One Japanese student said, “I had the chance to talk with international students and other participants whom I would not normally have the opportunity to meet. It became a truly wonderful memory.” An international student commented, “It was my first time making curry this way, and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed meeting and talking with many different people.”
