Risk Management Seminar and Pre-Departure Orientation Held for Outbound Students(Thursday,July 23)
On Thursday, July 23, the Center for Global Engagement held a Pre-Departure Orientation and a Risk Management Seminar for students preparing to participate in exchange programs and overseas study programs.
The Pre-Departure Orientation was attended by eight exchange students preparing for their study abroad programs. The session focused on physical and psychological risk management, as well as strategies for maintaining mental well-being while living and studying in a new cultural environment. Students were encouraged to develop practical coping strategies and prepare themselves for a safe and successful study abroad experience.
Following the orientation, the Risk Management Seminar was attended by 115 students preparing for overseas study programs and exchange programs. During the seminar, participants received an overview of the overseas safety support service available to them, as well as information on emergency procedures and the support systems they can access while abroad. The seminar helped students deepen their understanding of the knowledge and preparation necessary for a safe and secure international experience.
The Center for Global Engagement remains committed to supporting students before, during, and after their international experiences by providing comprehensive guidance and resources that promote safe, rewarding, and meaningful study abroad opportunities.
