Vietnam-Japan Online International Exchange Learning Project (January 22, January 29 & February 12)

We organized the Vietnam-Japan Online International Exchange Learning Project in spring! With the cooperation of Haiphong University in Vietnam, a partner school of Ibaraki University, we have conducted three (January 22, January 29, February 12) sessions so far.

In previous sessions, live streaming from the streets and shops of Haiphong City was organized and we were able to see the liveliness of the city before the Lunar New Year! Participants were also able to learn about Vietnamese food through the cooking lesson and lunch introduction sessions. Furthermore, participants were also able to learn about Vietnamese children and their parents by observing junior and high school classes in Haiphong city and interviewing Vietnamese mothers! Even though it was online, participants could play a traditional Vietnamese game with junior school students in Vietnam virtually!

This weekend, participants will attend a Japanese culture experience event for junior and high school students studying Japanese in Haiphong organized by the students of Haiphong University.

Participants have been able to experience many things even though they were in Japan!
