COIL Practice with the University of Wisconsin Superior (U.S.A.)(Wednesday, November 16)

12 students enrolled in the "Studies in Particular Field," Global English Program, collaboratively worked with 17 students learning Japanese language at the University of Wisconsin Superior as part of a COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) project. In this project activity, the students were divided into groups and conducted fieldwork on a theme of their interest. Each group decided on a theme, and students from Ibaraki University live-streamed from the fieldwork sites to students at the University of Wisconsin with pocket wifi and smartphones.

On Wednesday, November 16, the results of the fieldwork project were shared at the final presentation session. As this session was also held as part of the Ibaraki Student International Conference, in addition to students from Ibaraki University and the University of Wisconsin, faculty members and students from the De La Salle University (Philippines) also participated. After the presentations, the participants were divided into groups to exchange opinions.
