A Lecture for high School Students (Wednesday, August 2)

On Wednesday, August 2, , Aoki Sensei and Seo Sensei of the Center for Global Education gave a lecture titled "Enjoying Differences: The First Step Toward Multicultural Conviviality" to 17 high school students in Ibaraki prefecture.

In the lecture, students learned about "stereotypes" and "microaggressions" and discussed how prejudice can be socially constructed and how people can descriminate unconsicously.
