Japanese Field Studies B: Kairakuen Tour(Tuesday,November 14th)

On Tuesday, November 14, we conducted the "Kairakuen Tour" with 12 international students as part of the Japanese Field Studies B.
We visited Kairakuen, one of Japan's three most famous gardens, which is located in Mito City and enjoyed the natural beauty of the garden. We also entered Kobun-tei, a historical building, to experience and learn about Japanese culture and traditions.

Participating students said, "I was able to learn about the history of Kairakuen.”, “The fusuma paintings were very beautiful.”, “I was overwhelmed by the beauty of Japan.” and “I'm glad I got to experience it in person with everyone, instead of just looking up information on the Internet.” They said they were able to experience and learn about Japanese culture and history.
