Online Short-Term Japan Experience Program Organized by Participants of Short Term Study Abroad Program Vol.3

The short-term study program dispatched to Haiphong, Vietnam, for a month from February to March this year, focused not only on the one-month on-site training but also on pre- and post-learning activities!

On Sunday, May 26, two students participated in a short-term study program organized an online session from the Ibaraki Prefectural Archives and History Museum, which was attended by 36 people. During the session, the participants were guided by the curator of the Ibaraki Prefectural Archives and History Museum, who introduced the exhibition, "Life in the Olden Days: Changes in Playing". In addition, a student from Haiphong University, who is currently enrolled as an exchange student at Ibaraki University, interpreted the Japanese spoken by the curators.

This is a part of a project to plan and implement a 3-day online short-term Japan experience program for Haiphong University students after their return to Japan. During the dispatch, they conducted a needs and readiness analysis of local students and teachers, and implement the program according to the interests and concerns of the local students. In this session, students participated in a short-term study program took the initiative in coordinating with the people at the Ibaraki Prefectural Archives and History Museum and the faculty members at Haiphong University, as well as many other things themselves. Positive comments such as "It was fun" and "I learned a lot" were heard from the participating Haiphong University students.
