海外協定校の学生に向けて「バーチャル茨大ツアー」実施（1月25・26日）

1月25日・26日、グローバル英語プログラムの科目「Studies in Contemporary Japan」を履修する12名が、海外協定校の学生に向けて「バーチャル茨大ツアー」を実施し、 延べ22名の協定校の学生がアメリカやオーストラリア、ベトナムから参加しました。ツアーでは、図書館、生協、サザコーヒーなどの様子を事前録画及びリアルタイムで配信し、 その後小グループに分かれた交流会を行いました。 参加者からは「茨城大学がどんな大学なのかを知ることができて満足した」「ツアーの最後に茨城大学の学生に質問やコメントをする機会があってよかった」などの声が聞かれました。

On January 25 and 26, 12 students enrolled in the "Studies in Contemporary Japan " class of the Global English Program took part in the Virtual Ibaraki University Tour" for students from our partner universities overseas. A total of 22 students from USA, Australia, and Vietnam participated. In the tour, we streamed the scenes of the library, co-op store, and cafe in real time, and held small group discussions after the tour. Participants commented that "I felt satisfied with this event in that I got to see what Ibaraki University is like and where the students would go to perform activities such as studying or just hanging out." and "It was good to have a chance to ask questions and make comments at the end of the tour with Ibaraki students."
